Effective . This policy describes what personal information Complete Outdoor Living collects, how we use and share it, and the rights you have over it. Complete Outdoor Living LLC holds California C-27 Landscape Contractor License #1153300.
01

What we collect.

Information you provide to us

When you submit our consultation form, send us an email, or text our business number, we collect the personal information you provide. This typically includes your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code or project address, the project type and project description you share with us, how you heard about us, and any additional details you share during email, text, or call follow-up.

Lead form submissions. When you submit the inquiry form on this Site, we collect the information you provide (name, phone, email, ZIP code, and optional project details such as project type, budget range, and timeline) and send it to our intake endpoint at api.revko.co/api/partner-leads, where it is stored in our database for lead follow-up. We do not collect this information through a third-party scheduling widget.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our hosting provider and analytics provider automatically collect technical information including IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, pages viewed, time spent on each page, referring URL, approximate geographic location derived from IP address, request and response metadata captured in server logs, and cookies and similar identifiers placed by our product analytics provider (PostHog) and by Google Tag Manager to recognize repeat visitors and measure Site performance.

Information we do not collect

We do not knowingly collect government identifiers, payment card numbers, bank account numbers, biometric information, precise geolocation beyond ZIP code, or sensitive personal information of the kinds defined in California Civil Code §1798.140(ae) through this Site. If a project requires any such information at a later stage (for example, lien releases or change-order signatures), we collect it directly through signed paperwork rather than through this Site.

02

How we use it.

We use the personal information we collect to:

  • Respond to consultation requests and schedule and conduct design calls
  • Provide quotes, design proposals, contracts, and project updates
  • Communicate with you about your project through email, text, and phone
  • Operate and improve the Site, including measuring traffic and understanding which pages are most useful
  • Maintain records of leads, communications, and projects for business operations, tax and accounting, and warranty support
  • Protect against fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful use of the Site
  • Comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our agreements

We do not use the personal information we collect for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you. We do not currently share personal information with advertising platforms for cross-context behavioral advertising. If we enable the Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API, or similar retargeting tools later, we will update this Policy and the opt-out controls before doing so.

03

How we share it.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not currently use the Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API, or similar retargeting tools to share browsing activity with advertising platforms for cross-context behavioral advertising. The Site may use Google Tag Manager and Google Ads conversion measurement to understand whether ads lead to calls or consultation requests, but those events do not include the name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, or message you type into a form.

We share personal information only with the categories of recipients listed below, and only as needed to provide the services described in this Policy: database and hosting providers (Supabase for lead storage, Vercel for site hosting and edge delivery), our product analytics provider (PostHog) for Site usage measurement, our email provider and SMS provider for communications, payment processors and banks (only if and when payment information is collected outside this Site), licensed trade partners coordinated for project scope, accounting and legal professionals advising the firm, and government authorities when required by law or to respond to legal process.

Text messaging and your mobile information

If you opt in to text messages, by providing your mobile number on our inquiry form, by texting our business number first, or by agreeing during a call, Complete Outdoor Living may send you recurring text messages related to your inquiry and project, such as appointment confirmations and reminders, project follow-ups, scheduling links, quotes, and customer-care replies. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to any message to opt out, or reply HELP for help. You can also email hello@completeoutdoorlivingsd.com or call (619) 492-5883 to stop or get help.

We do not sell your mobile opt-in information or phone number, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Mobile opt-in data is used only to send you the messages described above. Our text messaging terms are set out in full in our Terms of Service.

04

Cookies & tracking.

The Site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to recognize repeat visitors, remember preferences, and measure performance. We currently use Google Tag Manager and Google Ads conversion measurement for ad attribution, including page, call-click, and successful form-submission events. We also use PostHog for first-party product analytics to measure Site usage and funnel performance; PostHog is configured not to capture the name, phone number, email address, or message you type into a form. We do not currently run the Meta Pixel or Meta Conversions API. You can disable cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect Site functionality.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We do not respond to legacy "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser signals because there is no industry-accepted standard for how to interpret them. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing for California residents under the CPRA when sale or cross-context sharing is active. Because we do not currently run the Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API, or similar retargeting tools, there is no Meta sharing to suppress on the current Site.

05

Retention & security.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the services you requested, to maintain business records, to comply with legal obligations (including warranty support, tax, and accounting), and to enforce our agreements. Inquiry data from prospects who do not become clients is typically retained for two years and then deleted. Project records are retained for the duration of the project plus warranty period and any applicable statute of limitations.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is one hundred percent secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

Your choices

You may unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any marketing message. You may ask us to stop calling or texting you. You may ask us to delete or correct your personal information by contacting us using the details in the Contact section below. California residents have additional rights described in the California rights section below.

06

California rights.

If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). The sub-sections below describe what we collect, why, your rights, and how to exercise them.

Categories of personal information we collect

In the preceding twelve months we have collected the following CCPA categories of personal information from California residents: identifiers (name, email address, phone number), customer records (project address, project description), commercial information (services inquired about), internet or other electronic network activity (browser type, pages viewed, referring URL, IP-derived approximate location), and geolocation data (approximate, derived from IP address only; we do not collect precise geolocation through this Site).

Sources and purposes

We collect personal information directly from you (forms, calls, emails, texts), automatically from your device (cookies and server logs), and from third-party platforms that support our infrastructure (hosting, analytics). We use this information for the business purposes described in the "How we use it" section above. We do not sell personal information for money and do not currently share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To request deletion of data we hold about you, email hello@completeoutdoorlivingsd.comwith the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the email address or phone number you used to contact us. We will respond to verified deletion requests within forty-five days, with a one-time extension of up to forty-five additional days if reasonably necessary (CCPA §1798.130(a)(2)). See "How to make a request" in section 06 for full procedure.

Your CCPA rights

You have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, share, and retain
  • Access and obtain a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention obligations
  • Correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you
  • Opt out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising if we enable that kind of sharing in the future
  • Limit our use and disclosure of sensitive personal information (note: we do not collect sensitive PI through this Site)
  • Be free from retaliation for exercising any of these rights

How to make a request

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@completeoutdoorlivingsd.com or (619) 492-5883. We will verify your identity using information we already hold about you (typically your email address, phone number, or project address). We will respond within forty-five days of receiving a verifiable request, with a one-time extension of up to forty-five additional days if needed. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we will require written authorization and identity verification before acting on an agent's request.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

California residents have the right to opt out of the "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CPRA. We do not currently sell personal information for money or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

If we enable this kind of sharing in the future, you may opt out in any of the following ways:

  • Global Privacy Control (GPC): enable GPC in your browser. When sale or cross-context sharing is active, we treat GPC as a valid opt-out signal.
  • Email request: send an opt-out request to hello@completeoutdoorlivingsd.com with the subject line "Do Not Share: CPRA" and include the email address you use to contact us. We honor the request within fifteen business days and confirm in writing.

Opting out does not prevent you from inquiring with us, scheduling a consultation, or receiving service. We do not retaliate against any California resident for exercising their CPRA rights.

Shine the Light

California Civil Code §1798.83 (the "Shine the Light" law) permits California residents to request a notice describing what categories of personal information we have shared with third parties for those third parties' direct marketing purposes during the immediately preceding calendar year. We do not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To request this notice, contact hello@completeoutdoorlivingsd.com.

07

Other notices.

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for adult homeowners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under thirteen, we will delete it. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us using the details below.

Out-of-state and international visitors

The Site is operated from California. If you access the Site from outside California, your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in California. By using the Site you consent to this transfer. We do not currently serve clients outside California; if your project address is outside the state, we may decline the inquiry. State and federal privacy laws that apply outside California (such as the Virginia VCDPA, Colorado CPA, Connecticut CTDPA, Utah UCPA, and similar) may grant you additional rights; contact us to exercise them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective" date above. Material changes will be communicated by a prominent notice on the homepage and, when appropriate, by direct notice to active clients. Continued use of the Site after a change indicates your acceptance of the updated Policy.
